HATS for HEROES

Caps and personal notes will be sent to our soldiers—Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, and other combat assignments—as part of a "Project Patriot" endeavor sponsored by the Samuel Bacot Chapter (Florence, SC) NSDAR, and fully supported by members and friends of Eliza Lucas Pinckney Chapter, all of whom thank you for your participation.

Circumference should be around 22 inches.  Length from top should be around 8 inches. The number of stitches is only a guide.  It will be OK to be off a few stitches.  This is a basic pattern, so feel free to add your favorite stitches. But most of all ENJOY your work and know how much your hat will be appreciated.

Please send or deliver completed caps to Ellie Burnaford or contact her to arrange a pickup.
