I am looking for family of Matthews. My grandmother was born in 1872 in Little River, S.C. I was told this was in Horry County. Her name was Pearl Elmo Matthews. Other children born in Little River were Welber O. Matthews born in Little River, S. C.and William E. Matthews born 1870 at Little River, S. C. Parents were John H. and Missouri (Bessant) Matthews who were married in 1868. All this information was taken from my Bible records.
