I am looking for the family of Wilbur Claude PRICE born 13 November 1875 in Marion County, South Carolina. He died 21 April 1910 in Green Sea, Horry County, South Carolina. He married Flora Jane PROCTOR about 1905. The had 2 sons, Franklin Wilbur born 19 July 1906 in Dillon, SC, and Frederick Lorenzo born 16 April 1908 in Mullins, SC. I found a Wilbur, age 4 in the 1880 census in Reeves Township, Marion County with mother, Samantha, age 30, siblings, Minnie O. S., age 11, James F. age 6, Kate A. age 3, and Wm A. age 1. FLOYD, RAWLS I am a descendant of Cornelius Floyd and Mary Rawls. Cornelius was born 1790/1794 in the Marion District, SC and died there around 1826. Mary Rawls was born 27 July 1797 in the Marion District and died 7 Feb 1856 in Covington Co. MS Their children included my ancestor, Samuel Horace Floyd, b 19 Jan 1823 Marion Dist., d 1 Mar 1855 Smith Co. MS. The father of Cornelius was Samuel Floyd Jr? b 1760/1770, possibly the son of Samuel Floyd Sr. b bef 1755. They are in the census for Horry Dist in 1800 and following years. Samuel Floyd Jr. may have married Ann FARRAR. Mary Rawls was the daughter of John Rawls and? John Rawls is also in Horry Dist in 1800.
