I am searching for any information on Henry and Polley Hamilton. Their children(Levi, Zachariah,Mary, Archibald) migrated to Jackson Co, FL in 1850. I have heard that there is a Hamilton Cemetery in Horry Co. Their kids were supposedly born in Marion Co. Any help would be much appreciated.
Searching for information on GEORGE WASHINGTON BENSON born about 1806, North Carolina; married SUSANNAH HARRELSON, daughter of MOSES HARRELSON, Horry County, South Carolina about 1829. The family was in Pike County, Alabama, by 1830, and Barbour County, Alabama after that. He apparently died there. Was he the son of JAMES BENSON who is listed in the 1820 Census, Horry County?
Does anyone know who the parents of Armstrong S.H. Martin were? He lived from about 1825 to 1890. He married a Jane (last name unknown). They had at least two children, John Martin, and Dougal Jesse Pertel Martin who lived from 1849 to 1926.
