HOW TO ASK FOR A LOOKUP: 1. Send an email to the volunteer with the publication you are interested in. Please put LEXINGTON COUNTY LOOKUP in the subject line. 2. In the body of the message, put the name of the ancestor, dates of birth and death (approximate is OK, the more info the better the chances of a "hit"). Please do NOT send entire family histories or ask for more than TWO lookups per volunteer per week! First, volunteers must follow specific rules to avoid copyright infringements, and second, we don't want to overwhelm our volunteers. Remember, they're willing to do these lookups as a kindness to others! |
