You are invited to submit biographies of your Newberry County families to be included
here to become linked with the South Carolina and US Biographies sites.
Short biographies are acceptable--longer are okay too! If your favorite family member isn't in
print, this site provides an opportunity to publish one for him or her for inclusion with other
Newberry County residents.
- If submitting a biography extracted from a printed published work--a critical rule
is to be followed: We must adhere strictly to all copyright laws. Biographies with
published copyright prior to 1922 usually do not violate copyright laws. If you have
any questions concerning possible violation, please advise before submitting.
- When preparing your biographies, remember to put a heading at the top of each to
identify the source book, author and publication date.
- Please include your own identification at the bottom of each biography in the
following format: Submitted by: Your Name (with email address)
- If the biography is self written and original work, please include the following:
copyright your name and year.
- Biographies are best received as an attachment to your email rather than
included in the body of the email.
- If you have Newberry County Biographies other than for your own families which
you would like to donate...please contact the county coordinator.
As the volunteer coordinator for Newberry County Biographies, I am here to assist
all who desire to preserve the biographies of all individuals of Newberry County!
