OKEY, CARMICHAEL, LESLIE - Colonel John OKEY was my ancestor. He served in the New Model Army in the Dragoons. He signed the Death Warrant for Charles I. He was executed as a regicide at Tyburne in 1662. When was he born and where? Who was he married to and when. He had two sons, one named Leven OKEY, who was married to Elizabeth (?) and emigrated to the colonies with his brother. Is there a relationship with Alexander LESLIE, First Earl of Leven?

REIDS in Saline, Fifeshire, early 1800s, the children of James REID and Sarah May. There are baptisms in the OPR for some of the older children but not for Andrew, born 1818-20. Was he baptised in a neighbouring parish?

A man named Peter CESAR was Christened 9/29,1751 in Dysart, Fife. He was the son of Cathrin Beal and Peter CESAR (also spelled CAESAR, CESSAR, CHESSOR, etc). My family records in the USA indicate that a man named Peter CESSAR who was married to Celia? was the father of my gr gr gr grandfather. This Peter died in Savannah GA in 1817, and our family history indicates that he was from Scotland. I am trying to find out if these Peters are the same man.

Looking for two brothers, sons of John MORRISON and Margaret STEWART. George was born 19.3.1837 in Abdie... I have just recently found out that the family were in Abernethy in 1841 but have been unable to check the census for there as yet to see if he was still alive. He was not with the family in 1851 at Auchtermuchty but could well have been elsewhere working. James was born c1846 at Abernethy, he was living with the family in 1851 but not in 1861 at Auchtermuchty. He too could have been working elsewhere by this time.

Desperately trying to find the death date of William & Ann CLARK. Last recording at Inverdovat Farm, Tayfield, Fife at 1841 Census. No record of them in 1851 Census when they would have been in their 70's and presumably dead. Can any one offer any suggestions
as to where to obtain this information?

I am interested in information on a Janet FISHER who was born cir. 1802 in Neubourg. She married a James JENKINS May 10, 1823. I have found Janet FISHER in the records of the LDS Church with the birth of most of her children. Some information I have has come from the
Old Parochial Records I have looked at at the LDS church. I haven't been able to find her date of birth or her parents names. The town of Neubourg came from a birth certificate of one of her grandchildren I have. The child, Thomas JENKINS was born in Bohemia. I think the Neubourg listed on the birth certificate must be Newburg, Fife. I think her husband, James JENKINS was born in Arbroath.
