I am looking for his parents, family and/or clan.  Silvester was shipped off to Virginia Colony in 1716. NEISH/DRUMMOND -  Looking for any information on the following family, their parents, etc.  Alexander Neish and his wife Janette (Drummond) Neish.  Alexander Neish was born c1779 in Crieff, Scotland.  They left the Crieff parish on the 6th of May 1826, enroute of America, along with their two sons and three daughters - James, John, Ann, Mary and Janette. I am searching for the ancestors of Alexander Stewart and his wife Isabel Rutherford who lived in Perthshire.I would also like to find the date and place of birth of this couple,my ggGrandparents. They had at least 2 sons...Angus born 1834, who emigrated to Canada with his bride  Elizabeth Mc Comish/ McOmish in 1857. The other son John was a clergyman in this area. We are searching for the birth date and parents (or more) of Duncan Robertson, born in Aberfeldy, Perthshire in the mid, we believe 1700's. He was a member of the Black Watch and fought in the American Revolution at Long Island and maybe at Bunker Hill. He settled in Northern New Brunswick after the War and died in 1824. John Cameron PHILLIPS was born about 1825 in Glasgo, Scotland.  He died about 1870 in Brownsville Texas, or Matamoros, Mexico.  (on one of John's children's birth certificate it state's John is a native of Pirthshire City, Scotland) He married Moriah (Maria) KELLEY  about 1848 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Moriah was born in 1824 in County Mayo, Irleand. She died October 14,1877 in New Orleans. LA.
John and Maria had the following children:
Maria Elizabeth PHILLIPs b. 1849 in New Orleans, died 1865 in Brownsville or Matamoros.
John Bernard PHILLIPS b. 1853 in New Orleans. Married Wilhelmina BAUMGARTEN in 1875 and died in 1880 in New Orleans.
Margaret Ann PHILLIPS b. 20 June 1856 in New Orleans.
Henry E. PHILLPS, b. 1858 in New Orleans, married Rosa V. Powers in 1883 and died in 1932 in New Orleans.
Margaret (Maggie) PHILLIPS b. 1860 in New Orleans. Married James Diamond RANKIN in 1879 in New New Orleans. She died March 28, 1944 in New Orleans.

Please excuse me if this is not the right place to ask my question.  I would like to get information about my ggrandfather Alexander HOGG, born in Blackford, Perthshire in or about 1826 and my ggrandmother Margaret PATON, born in Alva, Stirlingshire in or about 1828.  They moved to Dunning, Perth where they had a grocery store for many years (as well as 6 children).  Their first child, David, was born in Alva January 2, 1853.  If anyone is able to look up parish records for their wedding, probably in Alva in 1851 or 1852, Iwould very much appreciate it. Campbell, Peter and wife Christian McDairmid, married Killin, Perthshire 12 Jan 1797.Children- Margaret,b. 1801,Duncan b.1803, Christian b. 1804,John b. 1806 Stated to have died at Oban unmarried but no time known.Margaret married a McKenzie,Isabella became Mrs Alexander Campbell. Duncan died in Manchester again no date known.Other children in family were Ann, Charles, who came to Australia in 1837 as an immigrant, Mungo who died young . DUFF--Am seeking information regarding a John DUFF and a David DUFF, possibly Perthshire-born (Scone?) and presumably brothers, who fought in the same regiment during the American Revolutionary War.  They served for the British, in the Loyal American Regiment, and were probably already resident in the colonies (PA? or NY?) before the war broke out. "John" DUFF was possibly the father, with Catherine RICHARDS, of [Female] DUFF bca 1800; David DUFF bca 1805 Ontario, Canada; and John DUFF bca 1810 PA, USA, and possibly other as yet unknown children.  Any information/asistance would be wonderful!
