IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN ! I Nathaniel Guyton of State of So* Carolina Union District considering the uncertainty of this Life and being of sound Judgment & memory blessed be God for the same Do make & publish this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following that is to say first I give & bequeath unto my well beloved wife Sarah Guyton all that part of my Estate that I received with when we were married Excepting what I paid to her children upon her & Theirs account with the addition of my white pacing mare & full privilege of the House wherein we now live during her life :

 

Second to my son Isaac Guyton I will & bequeath the plantation where he now liveth,

 

Third to my son Jacob I will & bequeath, my land upon Cherokee Creek Spartanburg District;

 

Fourth to my son John I will & bequeath the plantation whereon he now liveth; and

 

Fifthly to my son Nathaniel I will & bequeath the plantation ñ whereon I now live (Excepting the dwelling House for his Mother and Sister Hannah during their lives or till their marriage) and also my Smith Tools reserving a privilege for any of his Brothers to work upon them when they please and - -

 

Lastly to my daughter Hannah Guyton I will & bequeath a plantation of Tract of land Joining the place where on I now live upon the river below Joining Morris land containing one hundred & Twenty acres also the remainder of My Goods & Chattles consisting of live stock & household furniture with privilege of my dwelling house with her mother as above, she paying to her sister Molley Tate and Emy Crittenden one dollar Each ñ

 

And I do hereby appoint my well beloved sons Isaac Guyton & Jacob Guyton Executors of the my last Will & Testament ñ

 

Signed, sealed, published and declared This Xnd day of January in the year of our Lord 1806
