He was a contractor and built the courthouse in Union Co. Rachel's maiden name unknown. Could be MANSON as every generation had a son with this name, either first or middle name. There was an Amos SPEACES (?) listed in a Union Co will in connection with Rachel and Archelaus. Archelaus' bro Jesse FORE served in Revolution and was in Union Co for 8 years, then to Ky (most of the KY brothers used FOREE). The children I believe were theirs: Calvin and Lewis FORE who both married ELLER women and went to Buncombe Co NC. William Lee IV had a daughter named Olivia born in 1761, who married a Mr. Frazer. Birth dates are about right for my ancestor, but I am not positive yet.
