GOODWIN

Much of what I already know about him came via Jere Cox and others who generously supplied the information via this GenWeb location. I am familiar with what they know about Theopolis/Theophilus GOODWIN in this area. We are trying to link these Goodwin branches. This George moved to Greenville District in the 1780s where he appears alongside my direct ancestor, Crafford Goodwin, in the 1790 census. I theorize that George (and maybe Crafford) came to Union from Laurens/Newberry Counties. I have other info which seems to link my Goodwins to possible family members to went to Georgia.
