GAULT Family
Genealogy
I can trace back to William D. Gault (aka "Drummer") who was
in the War of 1812. That is the 5th generation. I have names
of the children , or, at least some of them and names of
some of the wives. Would appreciate hearing from anyone that
recognizes or may have info on births, marriages, deaths,
children. I do know that some are buried at Waxhaw
Settlement and others at Flat Rock and Fosters Chapel,
Kelton, S.C. I need information (or proof) that William D.
Gault was the son of Robert "Robin" Gault and therefore
could go back 8 generations. Both were in Union County, area
of Kelly, Pinckneyville, Kelton, with some relatives buried
in the Flatrock, Gault-Hames, Fosters Chapel Cemeteries. The
first Robert Gault, (Ireland, PA , Salisbury PA), William

Union County, John Cleveland Gault, Spartanburg County. This
covers a period of 1700 to present day. William "Drummer"

GOODWIN, who lived on Fairforest Creek in Union Co., SC, in

Jere Cox and others who generously supplied the information
via this GenWeb location. I am familiar with what they know

trying to link these Goodwin branches. This George moved to
Greenville District in the 1780s where he appears alongside
my direct ancestor, Crafford Goodwin, in the 1790 census. I
theorize that George (and maybe Crafford) came to Union from
Laurens/Newberry Counties. I have other info which seems to
link my Goodwins to possible family members to went to
