INDIANA CONNECTION
I'm beginning to believe that quite a few family groups from SC migrated to Knox County, Indiana. The ones that I know about now are:

John MCDONALD b. 17 Jan 1770, d 13 Dec 1838 Knox Co. m. Letitia PALMER, b. 29 Jul 1773 d. 10 Apr 1838 Knox Co. IN (daughter of Joshua PALMER and ?) married in Union Co. SC 12 Mar 1789, on the 1790 SC Census not sure onthe 1800 SC census several of his children in War of 1812 Knox Co. He might have been a surveyor.

Clark HILL b. 9 Apr 1813 in TN, married Jane SARTOR b 12 Nov 1812 in Knox Co. both died Knox Co. IN. I know the SARTORs were early settlers of Knox Co.

John HOLLINGSWORTH b ca 1785 SC d 13 Jul 1859 Knox Co. IN m. Eleanor POLK b. Nov 1789 KY d. 6 Jan 1858 Knox Co. IN. John HOLLINGSWORTH's father possibly William HOLLINGSWORTH, who died ca 1812 Knox Co. and left estate. John MCDONALD (above) recorded William HOLLINGSWORTH estate sale.

Richard STEEN 2 Jun 1772 Union SC d. 17 Nov 1859 m. Nancy MCDONALD b ca 1776, d. befor 1820. STEEN family early settlers of Knox Co. A township is named after them. In Knox Co. IN by 1807.

Do we have any connections? Can you tell me anything about these families? I'm happy to share anything that I have.
