OSLIN's
The 1790 census lists a John Auslin, living next door to his father-in-law, Rev. Neholas Waters. I would like to know when they came to Union County. This John Auslin, is realy John Oslin, from Virginia. John paid taxes in Virginia in 1787. Would land grants or deeds give me a time for his arrival in Union County. It aappears from the 1790 census that John had a wife, he was not married when he was in Virginia. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

OTTERSON / BEUFORD / HUGHEY
Searching for any information regarding Samuel Otterson, David Hudson and Bird Beuford. They witnessed a deed of grant for John Hewey for land in "Berkley County on Tygar River bounded to the SE by land of Terrence Carroll and all other sides vacant." This land was in what later became Union County. Date: December 2, 1772. Second grant January 12, 1788 to Joseph Tucker for 155 pounds then joining David Hudson. Would appreciate ANY information at all regarding the families of HUGHEY, OTTERSON, HUDSON, BEUFORD. Please E-mail: jouett@aol.com; Hope Coslett Pees, 505 Arlington Street, Seguin, Texas 78155.

OWENS
Attempting to find information on MARTHA OWENS. Martha married THOMAS G. FOWLER. Handwritten notes in possession of my aunt tie Martha to JAMES AND LOLA OWENS (possibly parents of Martha). Martha born October 11, 1829 (SC) and died August 27, 1903. THOMAS FOWLER and MARTHA appear in the 1870 census in Jonesville, Union Co., SC. Any assistance greatly appreciated.
