SPARKS, McGary and Prischa
My great, great, great grandfather, McGary Sparks (also found as Gary, don't know his middle name or if he had one),was married to Prischa L. Sparks -- trying to find out if her maiden name was Lawson. I found a Levi Lawson from a Union county probate index. Prischa and Gary's son, Frank Martin Sparks, named his child William Levi Sparks, which is why I think her maiden name could have been Lawson (if they picked a family name). Frank Martin Sparks was married to Fannie V. Malone. Frank and Fannie had seven children, William Levi Sparks was one of them and is my great grandfather. His wife, Ada A. Timmons died at the age of 24 in 1917.

What I really want to find out is who Prischa's parents were and who McGary's parents were. Prischa may have been a nickname for Priscilla or may be misspelled ... she is listed as Precia on the 1880 census records. Prischa and McGary are both buried at Padgett's Creek. Prischa was born in 1830 and died in 1894. McGary was born in 1829 and died in 1906. I would really appreciate any help I can get with this.
