if her maiden name was Lawson. I found a Levi Lawson from a

Martin Sparks, named his child William Levi Sparks, which is
why I think her maiden name could have been Lawson (if they
picked a family name). Frank Martin Sparks was married to
Fannie V. Malone. Frank and Fannie had seven children,
William Levi Sparks was one of them and is my great
grandfather. His wife, Ada A. Timmons died at the age of 24
in 1917.
What I really want to find
out is who Prischa's parents were and who McGary's parents
were. Prischa may have been a nickname for Priscilla or may
be misspelled ... she is listed as Precia on the 1880 census

Am researching the early SUMNER family of Union Co. Ibelieve
the earliest was Holland SUMNER b. VA 1720-40 d. Union Co.
c.1790. I am quite sure his son was Mills Sumner b. 1767
poss. Culpepper VA and d. 13Jan1833 in Union Co. Would
appreciate any info on Holland's wife, parents or other
children. I know he left his belongings to Col. Thomas
BRANDON of Rev. War fame but don't know the circumstances
other than a prob. business connection. Thank you.
