According to the catalog, the fall semester of 1922 would be the first. The school offered five years of education if someone entered after the seventh grade. The school provided preparation not just for college, but also for technical school and direct entry into business. Listed is a bit of the history of the Stony Brook Assembly (the property of the school) along with the calendar for 1922 and 1923, courses, etc.
