The Coastal Region boundaries approximate the Parishes of South Carolina in the year 1770. By the latter 1770's, South Carolina Election Districts were divided as indicated. The Present Day Counties (underlying in black) were included as a reference. All division lines were drawn freehand and represent the approximate locations of boundaries only. Do Not Scale.
