York County Elections, 1836-1865 - In a biographical sketch of George
W. Williams, printed 8/7/1879, in the Yorkville Enquirer there are included
election results for all of the SC Senate & House of Representative races
in which WIlliams was a candidate. This tabulation is most interesting &
in some cases is the only known source of information that tells who the
losing candidates were and the number of votes they received.
