WPA Graves Registration Project
During the early 1940's, the WPA commissioned an inventory of graves in South Dakota. The original lists of graves in cemeteries are now in the SD State Archives. These lists have been microfilmed and can be ordered at your local Family History Center (FHC).
Note that not every county was inventoried - and some cemeteries were missed during the inventory.
