HUTCHINS. My ggrandfather Edward James HUTCHINS (b. Nov 1857) and his wife Mary E. BLAIR (b. 10/30/1861) were apparently in Marvin, Grant County, in 1885. I have them in Union County for the 1880 census, and by 1888 they were in Eau Claire. Any help in tracking this family or their offshoots during the 1880-1888 period would be very much appreciated. I am stumped, and cannot find anything linking them to Grant County during this time, other than the military service record of my great-uncle.

I am looking for information about John ANDERSON and Karin BERGLUND who, according to my information, were married in Revillo, South Dakota (in Grant County) on May 2, 1891. I would like a copy, if possible, of their marriage certificate. Also, my Mother, Ruth Sigfrid ANDERSON, received what looks to be a certificate of confirmation, membership, or baptism (something like that) when she was about 16 years old. It's from the "Svenska Krisna Missions Kyrkan den 14th Juli i town of Vernon 1912", which I believe is the Swedish Missions Friends Church. It was signed by Carl C. BORGLIN, Ortonville, Minn. I believe it was the Township of Vernon in Grants County. The family owned a farm in Yellow Bank Township in Minnesota near Ortonville. I would like confirmation of the existence of this church in Grant County and whether or not it still exists. Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Irene Anway
