Five girls were interested in declamatory work this year. Jo Anne King, Joan Hodgin and Joann Byre selected
dramatics; Rose Elaine Bukacek, humorous; Helen Hamiel, Oratory. As a result of a local contest, Joan, Rose
Elaine and Helen were our entries in the district contest at Kimball. Joan received "Good"; Rose Elaine, "Excellent",
Helen, Excellent.
