Cecilia Johnson (cmist_y@yahoo.com) Thu Jan 25 10:50:36 2007
I am looking for is my great grandmother, Her name was Mary Kruse Abraham dob Aug 1868 Holstien Germany, dod Mar 1918. I have little information about Mary. It seems that she and her husband Peter did not live togeter for some time before her death. I found his Obituary through the Pipestone museum and it just said that he had married Miss Mary Kruse and that she died in Mar 1918. I have found that thier son was living in Flandreau when he got his Draft registration and listed that he was sole support of his mother. I also found that Walter entered the military in June of 1918 so it sounds like she may have been living with or near him until her death. I have tried to find her in cemetery records but not much is available on the internet from that area. If you could assist me I would really appreciate the help. Cecilia

Looking for any and all information regarding Ralph HOLDEN and Josephine ELLIS. On the 1900 census, they are living with several of their children in Egan, SD. They had twelve children, according to the censuses, but I only have the names of 11 and their last three children were born in South Dakota (can only assume where, censuses aren't specific). They are in Winona Co MN in 1880 and Cass Co MN in 1910. One child born in Jul 1883 was born in MN, but the next child born in May 1884 was born in South Dakota. Several of their children appear to have stayed in the Moody Co area after Ralph and Josie left, but I don't have much of any information. One of their children, Warren appears to have married Jennie J White around 1895 while in SD and seven of their eight children were born in South Dakota. Any and all help concerning this family will be greatly appreciated.
