Brittain Howard et al Plaintiffs vs Joseph Saylor at el Defendants

Allotment of "the lands of Brittain Lee deceased, to the widow her dower interest therein and to the heirs and parties to the above styled cause their respective interest in said lands." Divided into nine lots:

  • Lot #1 to America Howard wife of Brittain Howard a 1/6th interest
  • Lot #2 to Catherine Miracle wife of James Harvey Miracle a 1/6th interest
  • Lot #3 to Elizabeth Hoskins wife of Solomon Hoskins a 1/6th interest
  • Lot #4 to Julia Saylor wife of Joseph H Saylor a 1/6th interest
  • Lot #5 to Mary Hoskins wife of Andrew Hoskins a 1/6th interest
  • Lot #6 to Elizabeth A Lee and Birdie Lee heirs of William Lee deceased a 1/6th interest
  • Lot #7 is in a second tract of land in which they receive a 1/12th interest, they being Elizabeth A Lee and Birdie Lee
  • Lot #8 is the 1/3rd of the tract first laid off which is the dower of Phoebe Lee widow of Brittain Lee deceased, Phoebe waived her dower rights in the second tract
  • Lot #9 is the 11/12ths of the second tract to Brittain Howard who acquired the interests of the other heirs, to wit: Mary Hoskins, Julia Saylor, Elizabeth Hoskins and Catherine Miracle plus his wife America Howard consented to the inclusion of her 1/12th of this second tract.
The land is on Pucketts Creek and was divided 28 March 1904 and recorded 8 Jun 1904
