We are planning a family re-union for the descendants of Peter and Anna Stadnik (Stadnyk, Stadnick). They settled in Stove Creek, Saskatchewan in 1913. Originally from Buchach area of Galicia, came to Canada in 1908 settling first to Winnipeg then on to Stove Creek, Preeceville and later some children went to Swan River, Manitoba. Peter and Anna's children were Mary (Maria), Joseph, Wasil, Nellie and Anthony. My cousins and I, who are planning this reunion, are descended from Mary Stadnik who married John Mudry in 1912 in Winnipeg and settled there.
