Poem for Roy Edwin Howard
other teens, Roy Edwin loved to look cool.
hair “duck tail style” made girls drool
certain old car with woodpeckers on each door
Roy feel like a “free spirit” on tour!
trips with Thelma were dreams come true
climbed and crossed logs with nimble shoes-
enjoyed with memorable days gone by
boys love and challenge nature he’d sigh
lights and city hustle made E- town glow…
Roy traded the outdoors for the city flow
parties, shows and possibilities in array
loved, played, lived hard he’d be the first to say.
enjoyed pets- remember Bristle face said he
orange cat gave me love and affection for free.
had a soft spot in his heart for family and pets
love you dear Roy- please never forget!
