The place name of Chessledal which you referred to as being on the Referenced Rand McNally Map and in the original St. Dennis web site information is actually the Hessledale School District #3557. What looks like a C on the Rand McNally Map in front of Hessledale is actually an outline of the shore of Patience Lake. Hessledale School was located at the SE Corner of NE ¼, Section 17, Township 37, Range 2, West of 3rd, in the R.M. of Aberdeen. Hessledale School was closed in 1960 and the building moved elsewhere. Hessledale is listed in the “One Room School Project” listings
