LEIPZIG ITEMS August 10, 1932 Mr. and Mrs. Mike Delainey and family have moved to Cathkin where Mr. Delainey will have charge of the Pool Elevator. Mr and Mrs. Leddy and have arrived from Valparaiso, Saskatchewan. Mr. Leddy is the new agent of the Searle Grain Co. They will take up residence in the Searle House on Railway Avenue. Mr and Mrs. C.M. Wolf, who have occupied the Searle House for the past four years, have moved into the Leidl house. Mrs. W. Miller is a patient in the Wilkie Hospital where she recently underwent a serious operation. Reports from the hospital are that she is progressing favorably. Ben Goorevitch of Veteran Alberta was a visitor in town last week. John Wolf, who visited with his son, C.M. Wolf for a few days, left last Sunday for his home in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Miss Josie Schommer of Saskatoon is spending her summer holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Schommer. Mrs. Heltman of Handel visited with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. M. Bader, on Monday. M. Bader and his two sons, Mike and Philip, arrived on Thursday from Foam Lake where they will make their future home. Mr. Bader is very favorably impressed with the north country in the fall. Leonard and Anthony Germschied accompanied them and will remain in the district for the fall work. Mr. and Mrs. Cameron of Saskatoon visited with Mr. and mrs. Fred Glessing last week. Mrs. M. Miller visited with her daughter Katie in Battleford, last week. Mrs. Harry Kibble and Mrs. Joe Schuedelsky were visitors in North Battleford last week. Mrs. W. Delainey spent the last week with her daughter in Broadacres. Willie Delainey spent the past week with his brother Tom in Revenue last week. Frank Schweda and his sons, Willie, Paul and Edmund, spent the past weekend at Manitou Lake, returning home Sunday evening.
