Born to Mr. and Mrs. John Sauter, a son, on Sunday morning, August 14.

Some of the rural schools of this district have opened for the fall term.  Miss Annie Schommer is the new teacher at the Rihl School and Miss Agnes Schommer has resumed her duties as teacher of the Aroma Lake School.

Friends of Mrs. W. Miller will be glad to know that she is getting along nicely and expects to leave the Wilkie hospital, where she has been a patient for several weeks, some time this week.
