Farmer school re-opened on Monday after the summer holidays, with Miss Mary Schommer in charge.

Mr. Joe Miller of Edmonton arrived in town last Thursday and will spend the fall here working and visiting relatives.

The heavy showers of rain of the past weekend put an end to field operations for a few days.  A few outfits started their threshing operations on Friday.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Huber on Friday, August 19, twins.

On Sunday evening a concert was held in the basement of the RC Church.  A play entitled Mother Love was presented in the German Language.  Those taking part in the play was: Mrs. P. Leidl, Miss Sherman, Hilda Saleski, Mr. Leidl, Mr. John Saleski, Mr. Melchior Sherman and Mr. John Sherman.  Rev. Father Boening sang a song and the Miller Orchestra played several musical selections . There was a big attendance.
