Miss Mary Novokosky returned home the first part of the week from the hospital in Wilkie where she has been a patient for a couple of weeks following  an operation of appendicitis.

Miss Josie Bader has gone to Scott where she has secured position.

Miss Annie and Dorothy Kibble have returned home from spending their summer holidays with their sister near Wilkie.

Miss Violet Kibble of Rockhaven spent the past weekend with her parents in Leipzig.

Born to Mr and Mrs. Tony Kaufmann in the Wilkie Hospital  on Friday August 23rd, a daughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Scwedelsky and two children spent the past weekend with relatives at Macklin.

Miss Clara Peermboom returned on Sunday, having spent a few weeks visiting relatives near Wilkie and Scott.

Monday brought an end to the summer holidays and classes were resumed in the public school and the Notre Dame convent.
