LEIPZIG ITEMS October 26, 1932 On Tuesday morning, October 18th, the marriage of Rosaline Bojarsky, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bojarsky and Rudolph Wassmann, was solemnized in the Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Father Boening performing the marriage ceremony. The wedding dinner was held at noon at the farm of the bride’s parents. In the evening dancing was enjoyed. The happy couple will make their home on the groom’s farm in the district. The Leipzig school children enjoyed a holiday last Thursday when their teachers journeyed to Biggar to attended annual teacher’s convention. Sister Regina gave a talk and demonstration on the teaching of primary music. Mr. Joe Miller who has spent the fall in this district left last week for his home in Edmonton. Mr. Harry Kibble spent the past week in Wilkie district visiting with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Miller had as guests over Sunday, Mrs. Miller’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keller of Unity. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kibble of Battleford were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kibble on Sunday, Rev. and Mrs. Treit of the St. John’s Lutheran church left Leipzig last Thursday and will take up their residence in Wilkie. Wilkie will be a more convenient place for Mr. Treit’s work, although he will still officiate as minister of the Lutheran church here. Miss Agnes Kibble had as her guest for a few days, Miss Dorothy Foote. Miss Foote left for her home in Moose Jaw the first part of the week. Mrs. K. Shattuck returned home Saturday from a ten-day visit to her home in Moose Jaw. Mr. Con Ulsifer was a business visitor in Saskatoon last week. The Lutheran church at Leipzig celebrated its annual mission festival on Sunday last. Morning and afternoon services were held in the English and German language. Rev. P. Ulmer of Isham, Saskatchewan was the minister in charge.
