LEIPZIG ITEMS September 14, 1932 H.L. Wolf of Edmonton, Alta, visited with his nephew, C.M. Wolf last week. He left on Friday morning for Tramping Lake where he has farming interests. Mr. Ben Goorevitch of Veteran, Alta. spent a couple of days in Leipzig last week. Miss Wacholz has returned from Edglefelt where she spent the summer holidays and has resumed her duties as teacher of the Pascal school. Miss Mary Lang has returned from Battleford and has resumed her teaching duties in the Medina School. A good part of the threshing in this community has been completed and with another week of good weather should be just about cleaned up. Farmers are rather disappointed in the yield the average yield being only 10 to 15 bushels to the acre. The grade, however is good, most of it grading 1 and 2 northern. Fire of unknown origin completely destroyed the large barn on Mike Huber farm, on Sunday evening, September 4. There was no live stock in the building but a few loads of hay were burned up. Miss Dorothy Foot of Moose Jaw who has spent the past couple of months here has gone to Wilkie where she has secured a position. Miss Violet of Kibble has gone to Wilkie where she has secured a position.
