Joseph Tress and His 2nd Wife; Anna Medulan

My Tress connection starts with my great great grandmother; Elizabeth Tress. She was born December 14, 1883 in Bukovina.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Joseph Tress and Marianna Medulan.

Joseph was born on September 20, 1855 in Rosch Bukovina. He married Marianna Medulan on November 24, 1878 in Rosch, Bukovina. Marianna born was about 1857-1860, also in Rosch. And she passed away in about 1903.

Joseph was the son of Joseph Tress and Appollena Zuk and Marianna Medulan was the daughter of Johann Medulan and Elizabeth Dietrich.

Joseph and Marianna had the following children that I know of:

1. Johanna Tress was born October 21, 1879 in Klokuczka, Bukovina, Austria. She married Zacharius Dietrich on November 24, 1896.
2. Elizabeth Tress was born December 14, 1883 in Czernowitz, Bukovina, Austria. She married Johann Holicki on November 22, 1903.
3. Josepha Tress. She married Ludwig Haas in June of 1906.
4. Sophie Tress.

Please, this information could very like been incomplete and not accurate. My sources are family stories as well as many wonderful family researches that I have found.
