He is the eldest son of John Lang and Elizabeth Keller. On November 12, 1930 he married Rosalia Sander, daughter of Michael Sander and Magdalena Laturnus. Together they farmed in the Revenue district until April 1947, when they moved to Wilkie. The fall of 1967, they moved to Saskatoon. In October 1984 they took up residence at Porteous Lodge in Saskatoon. Balzar and Rosalia have a family of seve children: Helen married Edmund Bitz. They have three boys, Leslie, Sheldon and Trent, and are grandparents of Lori, Mandy and Cooper. They live in Saskatoon. Lena married Royden Ellard. They have three boys; Kevin, Duane and Brian. They live in Biggar, Sask. Betty married Irvin Schell. They have two boys; Cameron and Shawn. Saskatoon is their home. Edward married Kay Lindeman. They have four children: Wesley, Shiela, Blair and Trevor. They live in Saskatoon. Evelyn married Elmer Chmil. They have two children: Tammy and Troy. They live in Saskatoon. Frances married Stan Kerr. They have two children: Cheryl and Darrell. They live on a farm near Rosetown. Pius married Judi Geeson. They have one son Dustin. They live in Prince Albert.
