BITTNER, JOHN - German.  Came to the end of steel at North Battleford with two carloads of effects, then over the Medicine Hat trail to the new Pascal district, with his wife and family, where they have always resided, having increased their holdings to 640 acres.  Their two sons, John and Fred, live at home.  Seven daughters area, Mary Kosokowsky (Humoldt), Lizzie Huber (Cavell), Barbara Nestman (Handel), Veronica Pernitsky (Vancouver), Clara Rolf (Edmonton), Christina Gooding (Wilkie) and Eva Hoffart (Edmonton).
