GERMIN, JACOB - Russian.  Came overland from Rosthern via Saskatoon and Battleford to their homestead in this district (4-38-20) with his wife,  Florentina and two daughters, Josephine (Mrs. Philip Leidl) and Mary (Mrs. Martin Leidl).  They built a sod dwelling and used oxen first.  Mrs. Germin now lives at Wilkie.
