Mrs. Catherine Fahl

Katie Fahl daughter of the Peter Holtzman's was born at Scott.  She moved with her family to Tako and then back to Scott to the farm on what her son John now farms.  She took her schooling at Crooked Valley and Lackner.  In 1934, she married to Joseph Fahl son of Mr. & Mrs. J. Fahl of Scott.

They lived for a while on the Fahl farm and then moved to a farm north of Wilkie.  In April, 1950, they moved back to Scott and took over the Massey Harris business.  Of the six children born to the Fahls', Johnny is farming, Joyce is married and living in Scott, Donald is married and teaching at Rostern; Jan is a teacher at Lloydminister, Bob at High School in Wilkie and Garry is attending school at Scott.  Joe Fahl passed away suddenly on June 23, 1959.  The Fahl's are very sports minded and take an active part in sports activies.
