THOMAS, JACOB - German.  Now retired in Wilkie.  Came to the Pascal (Leipzig) district over the trail via Battleford from ND.  Farmed three hundred and twenty ares for forty-four years. He married Justine Novokowsky September 1906 and has nine children six sons, John, Joseph, Jake, Tony and Valentine, live in this district. Peter at Steelhead BC.  Three daughters are Verna Bengart (Wilkie), Elizabeth Bengert (Red Pheasant) and Cecilia Dufort (Bruno).
