| Born in
Tysslinge parish, Örebro län. Emigrated to Boston, USA
in 1870. Associated with the employment agency "The
Industrial Aid Society" in Boston. He moved back to
Sweden and took over the Cunard Line Göteborg
General Agency after Sören
Sörensen. Office address: Sillgatan 44. He left the
agency in 1896 and moved to Stockholm. He also combined this with an employment agency mainly recruiting young women for household jobs in the Boston region. He handled over 58 000 contracts in the 1880's. |
