of Sweden, and parts of adjacent provinces: Uppland
andSödermanland. Before 1968 the city of Stockholm was a
separate administrative unit and not part of any län. Area: 6 488 sqkm. Pop: 1 524 266 (1980), 96% in urban areas. |
