Sven Myhl in Göteborg has been researching blacksmiths from provinces Dalsland and Värmland and their families for about 50 years. He has graciously shared his results with us and through a huge registration work by Kjell Åberg, Mellerud, Dalsland this material is available on line for free on SweGGate.
The database contains more than 36 000 individuals - most of them ordered in family lines. Most of the blacksmiths have detailed notes about their employment history.

All material is copyright Sven Myhl, Sven Åberg.
You are free to use the information in your family history but you cannot publish the entire database or major parts of it in any form.
