44-006, photographed as she was when serving with the RNLI in the waters of the Bristol Channel from late 1960s. On Saturday 2nd May 1970 she was officially given the name 'Arthur & Blanche Harris' by Lady Treharne, wife of the then, Lord Lieutenant of Glamorgan.

Built by Messrs Brooke Marine Ltd, Lowestoft, 1960s to the specifications of a
design developed by the United States Coast Guard.
