1. SUBJECT: The Luttrell Family Bible
2. LOCATION: At "Del Rae" about 10.5 miles north of Culpeper Courthouse, Virginia. Exact location: 1.5 miles north of Rixeyville, on Route #29, thence northwest on Route #611 for 3 miles, thence east on Route #626 for .6 mile, thence north on Route #639 for .7 mile, thence east on private road for .1 mile to house.
3. DATE: 1848
4. OWNERS: Mr. B. W. Luttrell, Rixeyville, Virignia
5. DESCRIPTION: The Luttrell Bible is about twelve inches long, nine and a half inches wide and three inches thick. It is leather bound and is in good condition. It was printed by the American Bible Society, instituted in 1816 in New York and contains all the features usual in old Bibles.
