Staff Sergeant and Tank Commander in the Army. He was slightly wounded twice and received two Purple Hearts. He passed away in 1997 from cancer.

My dad fought in WW II. His name was Lowel Lynn Spruiell. He was a Capt. and fought on the German front, receiving a Bronze Star in France and a Purple Heart in Germany.

Signed an oath of allegiance to the US at Elmira, NY on June 16, 1865.
