GEORGIA
WARREN COUNTY

G.H. HAMMOCK of said State and County beinf of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament.

ITEM FIRST. I give, bequeath and devise to my son BENJIMAN HAMMOCK his natural life and then to his legal heirs the following property to wit, the lot he lives on bounded on the east of lost of MRS. W.H. JOHNSON on south by fence of my gardon on west by fence between said lot and my shop lot and on north by GEORGIA RAIL ROAD or publick road.

ITEM SECOND. I give bequeath and divise to my son A.S. HAMMOCK his natural life time the following property to wit: the lot known as my shop log and my shop tools and buildings as his on property in fee.

ITEM THIRD. I give bequeath and devise to my son A.S. HAMMOCK and my daughter MISS N.A. HAMMOCK all the remainder of my land their natural life time and then to their children either or both as such be the case.

ITEM FOURTH. I give bequeath and devise to my son A.S. HAMMOCK my pistol, testament and Fiddle. (*under Fiddle is written bittle) I also give bequeath to my grandson GEORGE HAMMOCK my other bittle and to my grandson J.O. HAMMOCK my watch and chain and to my grandson J.A. COPPUCK? the sum of two dollars and to my grandson WM. A. HAMMOCK the sum of two dollars to be paid by my son A.S. HAMMOCK and the remainder of my household and kitchen furniture. I give bequeath and devise to my daughter N.A. HAMMOCK as her own property in fee. I make this my will and testament because my son A.S. HAMMOCK and my daughter N.A. HAMMOCK has nurced and provided for me and their mother in her life time more than all my other childred an grandchildren to gether. So I make this my will and testament as a reward for their services.

ITEM FIFTH. I hereby constitute and appoint my friend JAMES A. SCRUGGS Executor of this my last will and testament this 19TH DAY OF APRIL 1889.

Signed, declared and published by G.H. HAMMOCK as his last will and testament in the presence of us the subscribers who subscribed our names in the presence of said testator at his instance and request and of each other he signing in our presence and we signing in his presence.
