Looking for information on location or from the inside of a Philpott/Elliott family Bible belonging to the family of Mary Elizabeth Philpott Elliott.  She was the daughter of Barton Philpott and Catherine Funderburke and the wife of John Elliott of McMinn County Tennessee.  Bible was lost when granddaughter's family was moving to Indiana in the 1940's.  They had stopped to rest overnight.  A watchdog, a trunk belonging to Mary Elizabeth Elliott and a trunk belonging to Nancy Bishop Williams were stolen. email me at Sharon put p/e family bible in subject.
