This was take from the Lafollette Press (Date
Unknown) Donated by Sherman (Shown Below) Orick's
granddaughter.
THE SUDENT BODY of
Habersham School took time out some 30 years ago to have this group picture
taken. The picture was made in 1926 or 1929. The originaal photography was
furnished by Ollie Lively and copied by the Lafollette Art Studio. In the first
row are James Morgan, Herman Bolton, Robert Bolton, Buddy Ayers, Pat Marlowe,
James Bruce, Estas Sharp, Elmer Ayers, Earl Archer, John Marlowe, Charles Ayers,
Ed Brandenburg, and Samuel Marlowe; second row-- Mae Archer Hatmaker, Ted
Bolton, Lula Marlowe, Odessa Ayers, Ruth Rutherford, Mary Morris, Marie Bruce,
Pauline Gothard, Roy Gothard, George Carter, Curtis Owens, Pearl Lowe, Ruth
Lindsay, Maggie Lindsay, Parazida Carter, and Azalee Bruce; third row-- Everette
Lowe, Luther Coker, Lorene Rutherford, Maude Ayers, Marie Wilburn, Pearl
Marlowe, Mary Wilburn, Evelyn Lowe, Etta Ayers, Immogene St. John, Veda Bruce,
Naomi Lundy, Clara Brandenburg; fourth row-- Virgil Bolton, Ruth Greenwall, Fred
Morgan, Shermaan Orick, Elbert Sharp and Woody Ayers. The teachers were Daniel
Pierce and Lizzie Hughs. Visiting the school was Lewis Bolton.
