Cemetery Restoration Project

 The PALS Chapter cemetery restoration project consists of locating, recording and restoring cemeteries in the PALS area to preserve the historical and genealogical facts for the Pond Creek and Lillamay, Sam’s Creek area of Cheatham County, Tennessee.  We are in hope that generations to come will benefit from our volunteers hard work and dedication.

To date the PALS Chapter has record of eighteen cemeteries in its area with four cemetery projects under development.  Cemeteries currently in the PALS restoration project are as follows:

• Lovell Cemetery (Little Pond Creek Road)

• Allen Cemetery (River Road)

• Hooper Cemetery #1  (Sams Creek Road)

• Hooper Cemetery #2

• Vick Cemetery (Sams Creek Road)

• G. K. Davis

• Garland Hollow

• George Sugg Allen

• Johnny Hooper

Our list is growing and information is being collected to share.  Every effort has been made to provide accurate information. 

Please visit often for updates and additions to our cemetery list.

State laws protect cemeteries.  To report vandalism, theft or desecration to a cemetery, contact the Cheatham County Sheriff at 615-792-4341.
