I have another picture with students outside this building, which is not
bricked, but wood slated. On the back is written in pencil A. J. Albertson

Marla's Comments:

Professor Albertson and wife Ida were member of Rebekah Hager Lodge, No. 2. IOOF Jonesboro according to another picture I have. The picture includes a large group of men and women dressed in lodge attire.

Professor Andrew Albertson, Albertson family originated from Fentress County TN. He had lived with his wife and family  in Burrville TN where he was superintendent of Morgan County School according to the Morgan County USgenweb page from 1897 to 1902. His wife was Ida Clark b: 25 MAR 1868 d: 1916.  Professor A. J. Albertson died at age 75 on 1-31-1938, in Miami Florida, he was a former resident of Morgan County TN.   According to his obituary on the internet he was survived by sons C. E., Ernest, and Andrew, daughters Bernice, Maude, and Ida.
