Minnie Vannoy Bolton
Minnie Vannoy, wife of Lon Bolton, was born March 19, 1891, departed this life Feb. 13, 1937.She professed faith in Christ at the age of 13, joined the Little Sycamore Baptist Church. After a number of years she moved her to membership to Pleasant View and later to Springdale, where she remained a faithful member until death.
She was united in marriage to Lon Bolton September 23, 1910. To this union 4 children were born; Nelle, Leo and two sons who have proceeded her into the beyond.
We are vain to understand why God has seen fit in His wisdom to transport her but we can say from the deaths of our hearts that she has fought a good fight, and has kept the faith, and we know that she has gone to her great reward.
She leaves to mourn her going, her husband and two daughters, her father, five brothers, five sisters, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Wint Bolton and the Rev. Will? Ogan. Interment was Monday under the supervision of John Delozier. Pall beares were Hilt Brooks, Milt Brooks, Cecil Bolton, John Bolton, Claude Bolton, Fred Vannoy, Clarence Campbell and Carson Veneable.
Miss Anna Belle Cutshaw and Lon Wells were married in a simple planned ceremony at 1o’clock Sunday afternoon.
Squire Chumley officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Cutshaw
