Clay Lick Chapter Honors Member, ROTC Senior
In April 2009, several members of the Clay Lick Chapter visited with the only living charter member of the chapter, Marguerite Dean Clinard, at her home in Springfield, TN. She was presented with a 50-year certificate and a gold DAC pin.
The Clay Lick Chapter was chartered on April 13, 1959, in Springfield. Mrs. Clinard and her husband were the owners and operators of the Robertson County Times newspaper for many years. Now in her 90s, she still lives at home with the assistance of a companion caretaker. She still loves to go riding around the community and visits often with her sisters.
